Home Collection
The whole outside of your house, looked after properly, by people who treat it as though they lived there.
Most houses only get attention once something has gone visibly wrong — a gutter running down a wall, moss thick enough to lift a tile, render gone green on the north side. By then it is a repair rather than a clean, and it costs accordingly.
The Home Collection is the other way round. Everything on the outside of a house, on a sensible rhythm, so it never reaches that point. It is the difference between maintaining a house and rescuing one.
What it protects
Your roof
Moss holds water against the tile and forces it into the laps. A cleared roof lasts years longer than one left to it, and a re-roof is the most expensive thing a house can ask you for.
Your walls
Blocked gutters send water down render and brick rather than into a drain. That is how damp starts, and damp is a builder’s job rather than a cleaner’s.
What it is worth
A house that has visibly been looked after sells faster and shows better. Nobody offers under on a property that looks cared for.
What it covers
- Windows, frames and sillsExterior glass, frames and sills, cleaned with pure water on a pole so nothing is left to dry into streaks. Including the ones round the back that nobody else reaches.
- Gutters, fascias and soffitsCleared by vacuum, flushed through, and checked for falls and leaks. Photographed before and after, because you cannot see your own guttering from the ground and you should not have to take our word for it.
- Roof moss and algaeSoft-brushed and treated with biocide rather than blasted. Pressure washing a roof strips the fired surface off the tiles and takes years off their life — we will not do it, whoever asks.
- Render, cladding and painted masonrySoft washed with a biocide that kills the algae at the root rather than knocking the colour off it. It stays clean for far longer than anything a jet wash achieves.
- Conservatory and orangeryRoof panels, glazing bars, frames and finials. The roof of a conservatory is the dirtiest surface on most houses and the one nobody can see until they are sitting under it.
- Driveways, paths and patiosCleaned and re-sanded where the joints have gone. Sealing where the surface warrants it, and honestly said where it does not.
- Front door, porch and canopyThe part of your house every visitor stands in front of, and the part nobody thinks to clean.
- Garage doors, gates and bin storeThe utilitarian corners that quietly drag down an otherwise well-kept frontage.
- A condition note, every visitAnything we find — a slipped tile, failed pointing, a downpipe running behind rather than into the gully — photographed and written down, whether or not it is work we do.
Perfect for
Homeowners who want the outside of the house looking after itself — without having to notice it needs doing, or remember to book it.
How often
Windows every four to eight weeks. Gutters, fascias and soffits twice a year — once after the leaves, once in spring.
Most houses want the full treatment once a year with gutters cleared twice, and windows on a shorter cycle in between. Coastal and tree-shaded properties want more; a sheltered inland house can go longer.
Everything we use is safe around pets, children and planting. Nothing we apply to your home should cost you your lawn or worry you about the dog.
What it costs
Roof and render are priced by the square metre, guttering by the linear metre, windows by the property. We measure the building from survey data before quoting, so the number comes from your house rather than from a guess at the kerb. We measure the property from survey data before we quote, so the figure we give you is worked out from your building rather than guessed from the kerb. Every quote is confirmed on site before any work starts, and we will tell you if we think you do not need the work.
